The camera being angled down a little also means the Move controllers are still tracked with my arms fully lowered even a little below that. With the above setup, I have little to no perceptible head tracking issues, and the camera can track both Move controllers with arms fully extended. No idea if this helps, but trying it coincided with tracking improvements so I've kept it up.

Turn off the PS4 after each session, rather than leave in Standby. Lighting has been pretty flexible, but I aim for dim and even lighting, with enough ambient light to let the camera maintain focus. The following applies to a standing setup, but works well seated too.Ĭamera is at the distance Job Simulator recommends, which I'd guess is about 7 feet.Ĭamera is roughly eye level, and angled slightly down (i.e my head isn't actually centre of frame). I ended up mounting the camera on a tripod to make height/distance adjustments easier. I was having significant tracking issues in Job Simulator and Sports Bar VR, but I'm happy with my setup now. That was annoying, but happened only when i focused on keeping it still, when moving around i did not notice any headset problems (only when i covered it with my hands) The only tracking problem i had is when i was not moving at all looking at the monitor screen in my office, my head was slightly moving while i was actually keeping it still. With some patience i was still able to reach for every object in my office, still the things that were too far were difficult to reach for most of the time. Last thing is that if you don't set up the camera perfectly you can still play, but like in my case my controllers would go out of camera range making some things difficult to reach for. You can't track move controllers behind you, again your body is between the controller and the camera, so no way to track moves.

If you are sideways and one move controller is in front of the other the one that is covered will lose tracking, again the camera won't see it and so it can't track it, only way to solve is to avoid covering one move controller with the other. If you put move controllers in front of your face the camera will obviously lose tracking of your head and it will all be weird, obviously solvable simply by not covering the leds on the headset, no other way. Some tracking issue happened when my roommate tried turning off the lights, other than that the only thing happened are the following: I've played job simulator on my first psvr run and i didn't have much problems, and i didn't even calibrate the headset.
